This is the College Football game of the week - the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame at home to USC, one of their biggest rivals and one of the top NCAA teams in recent years.

Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weiss said to his team this week "Saturday night, fellas, you're going to be the lead story in the country one way or another. You're going to be. So which lead story do you want to be?"'

What Notre Dame fans would like to see most is quarterback Jimmy Clausen having the game of his life, beating the Trojans, and ending a record seven-game losing streak by the Irish to USC.  This would more than likely make Jimmy Clausen a leading Heisman Trophy candidate.
