Pidde Andersson

Pidde Andersson is a freelance movie journalist/critic/columnist since 1993, but also a screenwriter, and to make matters worse, he writes scripts for comic books. As a matter of fact, he's a member of the Swedish Academy of Comic Art.

Claim to fame: He has written one episode of AXA with art by Modesty Blaise artist Romero. He has also worked for the Swedish edition of MAD Magazine. Once upon a time, he met actress Sean Young in a public toilet.

Mr. Andersson is the head of marketing and development at new production company Filmkoncept Scandinavia (www.filmkoncept.com), specializing in cost-effective genre movies. The company’s first feature; horror-thriller “Mara”, is ready for delivery early 2010.
