Dylan K. Petley was born in Chatham, Kent, England in 1975. His family moved to Victoria, BC, Canada when he was a child, which is where he was raised. Upon graduating High School, Dylan returned to England, enjoying time connecting with the country he had left as a child. When he returned to Canada, he studied Creative Writing and Film at the University of Victoria, and is pursuing a career as a freelance writer and screenwriter. He has earned several modest international accolades including consecutive top 10% and top 15% finishes in the 2006 and 2007 Nichols Fellowship Competition in Screenwriting (The Academy of Motion Picture Art and Science) Currently, he writes for a number of print and online publications including Whitehotmagazine of Contemporary Art (New York), Trajan Magazine for Men (Los Angeles) and Style Republic Magazine (Vancouver)
