I'm a native San Diegan who was fortunate to grow up in the coastal communities of La Jolla and Point Loma during a very magical time in the 1960s and 70s. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Cal State Northridge and spent three years working as a business reporter in San Diego before entering the world of public relations. I have always been blessed with the ability to write and express myself, and it has served me well in my professional life. For the past 20 years I have been employed primarily in the fields of health care and higher education. My greatest achievement is being a father; I am the parent of three daughters who give meaning to my life and challenge me in multiple ways on a daily basis. I am also fortunate to have a wide and deep pool of friends. I have few complaints or regrets at this point in my life, yet I figure the best is still yet to come.
