Utah snowstorm
posted January 29, 2008 - 1:47pmA winter storm wrecks abound through out the Utah State on Monday, resulting in multiple road closures and atleast one death. Heavy snow pummeled through out Washington to Arizona, causing very severe powercut and havoc on roads. In northern Idaho, lot of roofs of several businesses collapsed due to the weight of the snow, on Monday.
John Livingston, a National Weather Service meteorolist said, the storm system arrived from California and Gulf of Alaska, stalling thro' Northern part of Idaho and eastern Washington.
The prediction for Tuesday is a new storm is expected which will add up one or three inches of additional snow in low-lying areas of Idaho, which will be two or four inches in hilly areas. Heavy snow warnings were issued for Oregon, Idaho and Washington.
