Valentine's Day Plans and Ideas

At the end of 2008 I found myself in the most amazing situation. I was in love! Not just any kind of love, but what has fully developed into the most real and sweet romantic, kind of love that could ever be!

So, naturally. If one wishes to write about romance, it clearly helps to be in the middle of the most romantic relationship in your life. With no further adou I give you my best ideas for this February 14th 2009:

Valentine's Day Plans and Ideas

Truly I say unto you my poor romance challenged friend that the best way to set the tone for love is with the sweetest of words. So the first tip in this Valentine's Day article is to speak from your heart to your true love. Compliment your lovely lady, but you had better be real about it too.

If you are madly in love and able to pay the closest attention to details, as I often do. It is always a pleasing thing for your lady to hear how much you notice the little things she does for you. The perfect outfit she has chosen for the evening. The slightly different make up she is wearing to bring out her eyes. You must never forget to express your excitement over her over all look.

The perfect gifts to woo your beloved come in many forms. The true secret to making your woman feel loved is your attention and affections. Nothing tells her you love her like the little things, such as standing close to her where ever you may be, holding her hands, or walking with your arm around her. Kiss her often and with passion. Whisper to her how badly you desire her.

Other gifts will put you over the top, like taking her shopping for the perfect pair of sexy high heels. After all, if you are treating her right she will enjoy every moment around you and desire to treat you well too.

Romantic Suggestions for Everyday & Valentines

Pack a picnic and head out to the beach. Be sure to bring a couple of blankets, a bottle of light wine (I would recommend a nice Riesling dessert wine), a cork screw, some wine glasses, and a bit of lunch. A picnic on the beach is very romantic if you go during the winter. The beach is practically deserted, and you two will have more than enough incentive to keep each other warm.

Spend the whole day together, window shopping, and making out where ever you can safely park. Nothing makes for a fun time like kissing, with all the passion and tenderness you have ever felt for her. As the old song says, and any girl will tell you "It's in his kiss."

One of my favorite ideas while driving around all day and seeing the sites on the West Coastline, is to keep a nice CD of love songs playing, and stopping frequently to gaze into each others eyes.

Wanna make a big impression? Here is one that happened to me:
We did go out for most of the day and found ourselves in the mall parking lot on Christmas eve. Naturally the place was emptied out pretty quick by the end of the evening. We sat talking for quite a while and listening to a romantic CD. After awhile I turned up the stereo and asked her to dance. I am no dancer by any means, but a slow dance isn't all that challenging to begin with. She was delightfully surprised and we happily stepped out of the car and into the empty parking lot to dance to a couple of romantic songs on the car stereo. I had only danced a couple of times in my whole life and nothing felt better than stepping out in a parking lot for the world to see us in love! We even had a few envious drivers honk as they sped past on the nearby street.

Don't underestimate a nice bouquet of flowers and a box of candy. It is a tried and true tradition for this day. But, don't be afraid to spice things up either, like cooking her a gourmet meal at home, and then making her some gourmet candies yourself.

Remember guys, when your love is true, it isn't about how much money you spend on her, it is all about your focus and attention to the little things.

Think that should be enough to inspire you at least a little, get your imaginations going and pursue the greatest gift God has given us. LOVE!

Ciao!
CJ
