Value Village

Value Village

I come across several problems when I am shopping in shopping malls. First, I am short and very tiny for my age so none of the clothes that is suitable for my age fits me and I end up having to leave the mall empty handed or shop in the children’s section! Secondly, when I do find something I like, it is usually made of a cheap material that is not worth the money they are asking for and I know it will fall apart the first time I wash it. And thirdly, I am not one to follow trends and I don’t like wearing the same things that everyone else is wearing but in the mall, all that is available is mass produced junk that everyone is wearing and everyone looks the same. I want to look different! That is why I shop for most of my clothes at Value Village. I admit, it takes a bit of patience to shop here because you have to go through all the racks and find your size and pretty much look at everything until you ding something you like, which does not happen ever time I go there. You should at least put aside at least an hour if you are to benefit from a shopping trip to this store. I love shopping here because not only is the clothing cheap, it is usually in good shape and if you get it home and find something wrong with it, it is easy to return the item with no trouble. They have shorts, slacks, jeans, dresses, jackets, coats, tanks, sweaters and everything else you can imagine including books and toys and jewelry! The also have dressing rooms which makes it easy to make sure what you are buying fits before you take it home. I always find one of kind items there that no one else has. It is also a good place to go to get Halloween costumes. They often have promotional events throughout the year too and the offer discounts to students and seniors. Happy shopping!
