Vanessa Hudgens says 'sorry' for putting naked pic on internet

Vanessa Hudgens has issued an apology to her fans for the photos of her posing nude that have hit the internet.

"I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me,” the High School Musical star said in a statement. “I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends."

The actress' publicist also expressed regret that the photos surfaced online. "This was a photo which was taken privately,” says Hudgens' rep. “It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public."

Hudgens, 18, is allegedly in negotiations to star in "High School Musical 3" for Disney.

Title doesn't quite match the story...

One would infer by your title that Ms. Hudgens herself is the one who put the photos on the Internet. She took the photos, yes, and she apologized for the embarrassment they caused when they became public knowledge, but she is not the source of their being posted online. That dubious honor goes to the National Enquirer and whatever human slime sold them without authorization. _______________________________________________________ "Treason doth never prosper, what's the reason?
