Veggies?

I'll always aim for veggies, and high fiber foods. I shy away from red meat and have for almost 20 years. I haven't drank a soda pop in 25 years.

My point of telling this is that I am the first male in three generations to make it past 50. Heart trouble has been a big killer for the male side of my family for a long time.

when I was young I was very lucky to live next to a herbalist and natural medicine proponent. I learned a lot from him, and from my recent (2000) health courses at my university.

At, 57, I have no heart trouble, no clogged arteries. So, I'm aiming for Birthday 100. I could use to loose some weight however, like 35 pounds.

There are not too many fat old people walking around, like in their 70s and up.

Red wine

to live longer... we have a good tradition with a long life (I hope!, but my grandma is 95). I have read olive oil, red wine with negramaro grape(resveratrol) and fresh ingredients for cooking let you live longer:-)
