Verity Lambert, OBE - the Producer of Doctor Who
posted April 19, 2008 - 12:49amVerity Lambert was only 27 when she was tabbed to become the producer of a new sci-fi TV series on the BBC, which turned out to become the cult classic "Doctor Who."
Lambert later went from the BBC to Thames Television, and proved to have a gift for producing a variety of programs from costume drama to crime shows and even sitcoms.
Verity Lambert died last in 2007, but not before her contributions to "Doctor Who" and many other programs led her to be honored with the prestigious Order of the British Empire award from Queen Elizabeth, allowing to office name and title to be" Verity Lambert, OBE."
