While setting up to be filmed for a news story, Katie Couric mocks her predecessor, Dan Rather. In the video Couric makes fun of Rather as seen in a video last month, which features Rather fussing over his appearance, trying to decide whether he should wear his overcoat or not while being filmed for an outdoor shot.

There's no love lost between Couric and Rather: In 2005 Rather said, "the mistake was to try to bring the `Today' show ethos to the `Evening News,' and to dumb it down, tart it up..."

"I'm going to be like Dan Rather on YouTube," Couric jokes in this video, mentioning Rather and fiddling with her coat. "Geez, don't you think he deserves a little payback?"

After her makeup is applied she says, laughing: "This tart is ready to go!"

Oddly enough, as the video goes on, Couric starts obsessing over whether her overcoat should be buttoned or unbuttoned...
