Violent Sex Offender to Become an Ordained Minister, CNN Reports

Pastor Randy Meadows of the City of Refuge Worship Center in Kentucky welcomes registered sex offender Mark Hourigan to join his church as an ordained minister.  Hourigan was charged in 1998 for "sodomizing, sexually abusing, and intimidating" an 11 year old boy, a crime for which he would ultimately serve a 4 year 8 month sentence.  The desperately naive Meadows justified Hourigan's position by assuring us that  "God gives everyone a second and a third and a fourth chance."
