Virgin Islands Police Department Finally gets Community Assistance to Help Solve Crimes!

February 18, 2008, - The Virgin Islands Police Department has reached out to the Community to ask for assistance to solve crimes in the Territory.

Commissioner James McCall finally realized that in order to save his job as the head of a distrusted Police Department he needs community assistance.

The Police Department has started a program where they pay citizens in the community for information on crimes. If the tips that are provided by citizens proves to be fruitful, they will be awarded monetarily.

This is a good program, probably the only program that the Virgin Islands Police Department can use to get the much needed assistance in solving crimes in the territory.
