Virgin Islands Police Department's Solvability Stats in Homicides are Poor!
posted November 26, 2007 - 3:27pmNovember 26, 2007, - Continued disappointment from residents in the Virgin Islands aired live on local radio talk show, "Beloved", hosted by Mario Moorehead today.
The bloody and violent way that Clarence Van Beverhoudt was murdered in the early morning hours on Friday, November 23, 2007, was still fresh in the minds of local residents. The 35th homicide victim in the territory, was found stuffed in a shopping cart in a well populated area of St. Thomas, VI.
Expressing rampant disappointment in the Police Departments handling of homicides in the territory, is why residents are leery with assisting them; said one caller. Also expressing dissatisfaction with the police department's top management, Commissioners Mcall and Francis.
