Virgin Mobile Prepaid Cell Phones - Pros and Cons

Should you purchase a prepaid cell phone?

That's a question many people are asking. The answer is maybe. It depends on your situation entirely. Do you talk on your phone a lot and pay for overage minutes?

Or do you overpay and not use all the minutes available to you? Virgin Mobile offers some pretty good prepaid cell phone plans, which offer some of the same features as a traditional 2 year contract type of cell phone agreement.

If you're in the market for a new cell phone offer, take a look at the article below about Virgin's offers.

Everyone one needs a better

Everyone one needs a better service for a low budget so one should go for it as one's knows how much one can talk of in a month or a time period of the plan. www.prepaidwireless.com

Has anybody used Tracfone's

Has anybody used Tracfone's prepaid cell phone service? I've been hearing good things about this company lately. Save money with prepaid cell phones.

Pre-paid phones are NO GREAT DEAL...

I might work for Boost Mobile, but, in all honesty most pre-paid phones are no knock down deal. I use Cricket, myself, and their pre-paid too, like unlimited voice $25 mo, voice, and text $30 month, or unlimited everything, text, voicemail, telephone, 411, three-way calling, call-waiting, you name it, its got it for $50 month, and all the plans include Canada and the U.S. unlimited--I use the $50 plan. I'd like to see another pre-paid match that! And, my service is excellent, but, their customer service is the worst, so, I never call customer service, don't need to.

Virgin

From my past experience, Virgin has great customer service as well. I got a Virgin prepaid for my son a few years ago. They are getting a lot more competitive now with other prepaid plans out there. I still prefer my Thai mobile phone. Just buy a phone, buy a sim card and recharge your credits with a card you can buy at any 7-11! When I want a new phone, just move the sim card..It's so much easier (and cheaper) here! Buy a Double Minutes for Life Card and receive a Motorola W175 for FREE! Thanks for the tip Joseph.

Thanks for the tip Joseph. It's good to hear that Boost Mobile's service is good--it's hard to find good service these days. Other who are interested in Boost Mobile can read more about the service at the following article: Boost Mobile Prepaid Cell Phones.

Boost Mobile Pre-Paid Cell Phones - like no other company

Read all you want about others. There ain't no one better than Boost Mobile Telephone, no body. With a customer service department based in the United States, and a company who will turn someone's phone on to assist the customer even if they have no money, this Sprint-Nextel company is awe inspiring. As Boost tells its Customer's Service people; "we're a customer service company, that just happens to be in the phone business, so, take care of our customers!" And, the only job-security with Boost are the responses received from the customers. Boost rolls lots of heads for not taking care of customers. If an Agent wants to have job security, hey, they better take care of those customers... I love Boost Mobile Telephone, and I always aim, every day, to take care of our customers... Virgin Mobile

The article doesn't mention that Virgin has at least one other "plan", which is actually a no-plan option: you just buy minutes whenever you need them. As long as I buy at least $15 worth every three months, the unused minutes roll over. My option also has a variable per-minute rate, depending on how many minutes are used in a day. They have other options too.

I have the same one and have had it for two years.....

It is also our only cell phone and for outings or emergencies. Never had any problems and $20 last us the full three months also. It is a great choice. I agree with the thumbs up. Thanks for the post.
