The Linares super grandmaster chess tournament of 2007 was a mile stone in the life of the Indian CHESS PRODIGY Vishawanathan Anand. With this emphatic win, Viswananathan Anand, known as Vishy anand, The Indian chess Genius has ascended the throne of the top rated player of the world , of this intricate Brain game, bringing back to his mother land, the past glory of the game, that was originated in India, and flourished under the Indian Royal patronage, before the Game was spread to other parts of the world.
