Viswanathan(Vishy) Anand Is the new World chess champion:- Vishy the undisputed king of the world chess clinched the coveted title after drawing the final round with peter leko at Mexico city hours ago.

Vishy who is the number one in the world chess rankings as per FIDE ratings had won the world title in 2000 but then there were two champions, one known as Brain games champion and the other Fide official champion . This time however there is no second claim for the world crown and Vishy is the undisputed King of the world chess.

Born and brought up in Madras ( The present Chennai,India ) This chess prodigy learned his first move from his mother and then ruled the nation in the 64 square game until became the world junior champion. Anand has never turned back afterwards and it was a long journey to this crown.He had many coveted titles to his credit like linares the wimbeldon of chess and many other major tournament titles. He is the reigning world Rapid chess champion .
