"Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!," the Radio Comedy Quiz Show

"Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!" is a weekly comedy quiz show based on the week's news. But you won't find it on any TV station... it's a radio show. The radio quiz show is an old idea, but "Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!" gives it a new twist with a panel of comedians including Mo Rocca and P.J. O'Rourke. (Check out the show's Web site here: http://www.npr.org/programs/waitwait/ )

Guests who including everyone from famous authors to U.S. Senators play the game for listeners at home, and since the quiz is based on the week's news, listeners can actually learn something while they have fun listening.

"Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!" is recorded in front of a live audience in Chicago. You can listen to it weekly on NPR stations throughout the U.S., or download episodes as a podcast at the Web site above.

The [green] eyes have it

Glad to see this post has gained a consensus of approval from the two green-eyed Xombies. Wait Wait... can be heard on WNYC on weekends, on the AM station one day and on the FM band the other day. The station's schedules are at: http://www.wnyc.org/schedule/ You can also go to www.npr.org and search for the show's Web site; you might be able to listen there or download the podcast, or you can go to iTunes or another podcast program and download it there.

Hope I can find it

It sounds like a great show (and I definitely like Mo Rocca).

Wait wait...

I don't catch it all that often, but it's always fun to hear, especially to see who the guest is. It's a good way to see how closely I've followed the news. One of my sisters loves Car Talk. I never cared for it, but that's partly because I don't own a car.

wait, wait is one of my favs

I try never to miss a broadcast. I want Carl Castle's voice on my answering machine! Cartalk is another big NPR hit in our house. Nice job bringing the show to attention. +1 from me!
