Wake Up And Smell The Tap Water

SMARTEST BEIGNS, I DON’T THINK SO!

If we are the smartest being on this earth, the earth is doomed! How can we call ourselves the smartest being on the planet earth? All we do is destroy it! Polluted it! Try to change it! Use and abuse its natural resources!

We poison everything around us. Our own food is contaminated by our own doing! Our water supply is also contaminated by our own doing! Are we so stupid and greedy that we put our own health and the health of others and last but not least the health of the planet in jeopardy for a measly pay check. How can executives of any company put people, animals and nature at risk just so they can please their stock holders? I just can’t relate at all to that way of thinking! Don’t you know? You and your family are being poisoned too? Or your too stupid and vein that you think it won’t happen to you? Believe me, it will! Wake up and smell your tap water! Have you done that lately? What about tasting it? Uh, uh!

Let us recycle more! Buy less crap that you don’t really need! Slow down! Think about your life and where you are heading. Stop all this plastic packaging in everything we eat and drink. It ends up in our lakes, rivers and oceans. Even inside us and inside other animals. It is everywhere! Just look around you! Stop all these fertilizers and weed killers that end up killing us and everything around us, except killing the weeds of course! So what, if there is some weeds in your garden, lawn or crops, just pull them out with your hands or just let them be, they are part of nature too.

We descendents of Europeans think we are so smart, but the really smart beings were the Native Americans that we slaughtered. They new how to respect our planet, they new how to live with what the earth provided them, they new how to be one with the earth! We are still lucky that some of the Indians that survived our extermination still live today. We can really learn a lot from their cultures. The question is, are we ready? You think with all the effort we put on getting an education, are we really getting one? What do you know about your planet and your natural surroundings? What is going inside your body? The air that we breathe the food that we eat, the water that we drink, the homes that we live in are all polluted! What is inside you? Do you know?
