Walking indoors
posted July 4, 2009 - 5:00pmLooking for a way to drop a few pounds, or just stay in shape? Walking is a great way to do it. If you live in a climate that has bad weather, and nasty winters, indoor walking might be for you. Always check with your doctor first though.
Earlier this year I discovered some walking DVD's by Leslie Sansone. You walk in the comfort of your own home. No embarrassing trips to the gym in those uncomplimentary tights. No struggling with weird looking equipment. Doesn't matter what the weather, what the time of day. Just pop in a DVD and off you go. There are a variety of tapes so you can walk just one mile, or go two, or three, or up to five miles. She includes a cool down at the end too. On the longer tapes, you have the option of stopping after any mile marker (or at any point) and go to the cool down.
