The recent prices of commodities have recently increase. This I think have affected every country most especially here in our area, ASIA. We are totally dependent on oil and basically for the past few months, the price of oil has significantly increase. This has created a chain reaction to all our commodities. In fact the cost of rice alone, our common staple food here has almost doubled already.

We mostly hear about what is happening here in the USA. It's great to hear from someone outside of here and see what you are experiencing. Rice prices are increasing here as well along with about any other food item. Our government has mandated using corn for part of our fuel supply making the price of corn products higher too.
