Want one pot meals?... get a Crock pot!

Do you long for a simple dinner, that can be cooked in one pot?.. Why not get yourself a crock pot?

These pots are fantastic, and work well for busy working families. The only bad part, is that you have to remember to prepare it before you go to work, or the night before and leave in the fridge.

Just add all your ingredients, my favourite are the stews, where you just throw in your stewing beef, carrots, potatoes, any vegetables you want, and a can of tomatoes or juice.. add some seasonings, plug it in, and off to work you go, it simmers slowly all day, for a great tender stew.

When you get home, the house smells devine, dinner is ready, and you just serve into a bowl, no mess, hardly any cleanup, and they have been around awhile, but now come in modern sleek looking styles.

Next time, you are shopping for "kitchen toys" consider a crock pot, they usually come with some quick recipe ideas, and are just great for one pot meals.

I have had mine for 15 years, but think I will upgrade to a more modern looking one to match my kitchen.. you can get them in department stores, but you can also get them online..
