Summary: The Washington Post uncritically reported Sen. John McCain's false claim that Sen. Barack Obama "would raise taxes." In fact, the Tax Policy Center concluded that, compared with McCain, "Obama would give larger tax cuts to low- and moderate-income households and pay some of the cost by raising taxes on high-income taxpayers" -- those households earning more than $250,000 per year.

Darn the Human McCain! To Heck, I Tells Ya!

Obama will raise taxes on the high-end, yes; that will raise more money than the same percentage would on the low end, yes; most of McCain's connections are on the high end, yes;

McCain is not hovering above the political game, he is within the game as a pawn and thus only has a view blocked by a crowd of high-end friends.

Obama ~is~ hovering above the game ... you know how, or you don't know and you won't know ... and so he can see how to maneuver the ENTIRE COMMUNITY of the United States to Universally Prosperous positions.

What About

those earning $42,000 a year? Isn't Obama raising taxes on them too?

Obama is only raising taxes if you make $250,000 or more

That income level is far above the median income for most Americans, which means that McCain and Palin are being deliberately misleading when they say that Obama is going to raise "our" taxes. This is the same John McCain who can't remember how many houses he and super-rich wife, Cindy, own.

The time has come for America to vote our hopes not our fears.
