Description: In 1970s America, a detective works to bring down the drug empire of Frank Lucas, a heroin kingpin from Manhattan, who is smuggling the drug into the country in the coffins of soldiers returning from the Vietnam War.

i love love love denzel washington. the man is amazing to look at, to listen to and to watch in a film. but it just disturbs me how he can be so charming and so cruel at the same time. i had the same problem with training day. but he's a brilliant actor when it comes to portraying this type of character. and russell crowe was in the type of role i love him in--a somewhat geeky cop. he's so believeable you don't even fault him for being a jersey cop with an australian accent.
