In trying to find water in space, NASA's LCROSS mission has successfully bombed the moon. Tow spacecrafts crashed into the south pole of the moon in search of ice. The first empty rocket hull hit the south pole of the moon at 7:31 a.m. Eastern. The second space probe hit it 4 minutes later. The second probe has camera and equipment.

People are disappointed that the NASA bombing of the moon by the LCROSS mission was not more dramatic. People have tweeted about their disappointment.
