Watch "The Next Iron Chef" now.... right now it is on the Food Network.....

The epic battle between Chef Michael Symon from Cleveland, and Chef John Besh from New Orleans will start in two minutes....

Turn off the phone, tune in the TV and Watch Watch Watch.

This will be a terrific battle in Kitchen Stadium and will determine who will be the next Iron Chef....

The battle is over and the winner is Chef Michael Symon.... he will be the next Iron Chef....

Sadly, I fear that Iron Chef Mario Batali may not return to the Iron Chef America show....

He did not appear with the other Iron Chefs at the epic Battle Swordfish to judge the finale of The Next Iron Chef, and there has been a rumor that he would not be returning.

Apparently, he had a disagreement with the network when they quit airing his Molto Mario series on a daily basis, and told them that he was leaving, although the network has continued to say that he would still be appearing on Iron Chef America..... I think it likely that he will not...

He will be greatly missed.....

As will Chef John Besh... I must confess that I was hoping to see him as the Next Iron Chef... although I also like Michael Symon....

But I will miss John Besh... but most of all I will miss Chef Mario.....
