Watch TV on the Computer for "Free"

This article describes a couple that had the "everything" package from their cable company costing $115 a month. That's a lot of cable.

They decided to cut costs by buying a new computer and dvd player with special features. Now they watch movies and their favorite tv shows for free. < p>

Instead of a tv guide telling them what's on, they have to know where to look for free programs and movies. There are many sites that have movies to view for free that require a membership fee and/or a download of their particular media player.

While they may be on to something, I don't forsee me buying a new computer "and extras" to watch tv or movies. The tv digital converter box for $9.99 (after the $40 cupon), a netflix account and my computer do me just fine. No cable bill needed.

Check it out and see what you think. It may be just what the financial doctor ordered to save you money.
