Although this site is still under construction, there are enough things to check out such as a new trailer, wallpaper, buddy icons, posters and a brief synopsis of one of the main characters make it worth a look.

Watchmen has received critical acclaim both in the comics and mainstream press, and is regarded as a seminal text of the comic book medium. After a number of attempts to adapt the series into a feature film, director Zack Snyder's Watchmen is scheduled for release in March 2009.

This comic book to movie adaptation by 300's Zack Snyder is being released by DC Comics and Warner Bros. on March 6th, 2009. The story takes place in an alternate universe set around the mid 1980's when America and Russia were 1-upping each other in a nuclear arms race.
The characters making up the superhero team make it their mission to discover the killer of one of their own colleagues named "The Comedian" played by (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The remaining costumed superheroes include Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup), Night Owl (Patrick Wilson), Ozymandias (Matthew Goode), The Silk Spectre *(Malin Akerman), and Sally Jupiter (Carla Gugino) leave the well known tight fitting spandex behind and don some pretty interesting attire to protect the world in. It makes for a refreshing change from the comic book outfit norm, making this action fantasy drama a bit more believable than other conventional comic superheroes.

*Malin Akerman is the superhot blue eyed blonde from several recent movies such as: The Heartbreak Kid, The Brothers Solomon and 27 Dresses.
