Wayne Newton mad with Johnny Carson over gay jokes

On November 29th Wayne Newton made an appearance at Larry King's show on CNN.
Newton talked about the destruction of his friendship with Johnny Carson, who made jokes about Wayne's masculinity.

Newton said he paid Carson a visit at his NBC office after he has been trying to reach him for about a year and a half without any success.

Wayne told Larry King that he said to Carson: "'Mr. Carson I don't know what friend of yours I've killed, I don't know what child of yours I've hurt, I don't know what food I've taken out of your mouth... but these jokes about me will stop, and they'll stop now or I will kick your ass."

Newton said also that these gay jokes about him didn't hurt his career.
