So until recently I never really knew what the craze with this Katamari series was. I would see influences from ytmnd.com and my friends would keep saying "dude ots like your type of game."
So I went ahead and bought the first one not realizing what I was getting myself into.

This game is phenomenal. The whole basis is rolling up items into a big ball. Some items included anything from saftey pins, markers cookies and fowers to cars buildings clouds and even people! You only have so much time to make this ball(katamri) into a certian size 50 cm 1 meter 500 meters....(you get the idea). Later it is tossed up into the sky and becomes a star....(only in Japan can an idea like this come to life).

Sounds simple, and it is but it is insanly addictive and worth playing over and over again. After buying Katamari Domacy I quickly bought the sequel We Love Katamri. My friends and I still play it today and I kick but on the second version's multiplayer. Anyways go out and buy it only for the Playstation 2 trust me when I say its one game worth having in the collection.
