We Still Have Each Other

We may not have it all girl
But we sure have each other.
You are the only one I need
Best friend and greatest lover.

Though times may seem so hard
And lights all seem to fade now
I know our hearts are pure love,
I know our love is still strong.

It feels the world's against us
The cold and frosty winter.
But as I wake beside you
My heart still feels like summer.

My life and soul fixed on you
An empty bed without you
My dreams are always of you,
A wasted life alone.

You say I'm not the man
You met those years ago.
See through the misty air now
My arms outstretched to hold you.

My place in life beside you.
Forever in awe of you.
A miracle to have found you
I am happy by your side.

I know we have come so far
To the place now we are,
The dark past left behind us
With the challenges we beat.

I guess what I am trying to say
In my typically Dickensian way
Is that I really miss you
And I'm still crazy about you.
