Webs, Google, and Traffic

How many millions, do you think, go onto Google, type in a search word or two, browse through the first one or two pages of Google and click through to a web, finding what they are looking for? We are talking BILLIONS of people.

People like you and me, people looking for info on anything under the sun, Mom's looking for info for their childrens' school orals and projects, people looking up medical or legal info, PEOPLE LOOKING FOR WAYS TO EARN MONEY, you name it and BILLIONS are looking it up!

How to get your website onto the first few pages of Google that people search:

Content, Content, Content,
should I say it one more time? CONTENT.

I wrote an article, a fun, light article about comfrey cream and how it helps people, and included a recipe for it. Put it on my website. Spent about an hour marketing my website page with the comfrey cream article on it, via safelists, facebook, free classifieds, whatever.

Three weeks later this was the result: Out of over 37 000 paragraphs (links) on Google (3700 pages, ten links per page), it reached NUMBER ONE position on Google! Just like that!

Of course when people get to the website, they click on other links or pages too. Including Google adsense ads I have on each page.

Luckily for me, my boyfriend designs websites. He puts all the meta tags (keywords that people search for, and more importantly that Google searches for), into the source coding of my website.
He takes these words from the CONTENT of articles/text on my pages.

Then instead of running around marketing the different webs you are a member of, all you have to do is market your own website, where all your interests, businesses, and even referral banners are displayed. The more hits to your web (via your own marketing efforts or via BILLIONS of people searching for words found in the content of your website), you too can reach page one of search engines!
