Weed vs. everything else

Weed vs. everything else

Over the last few months we have seen many States take on a more open view of medical marijuana. This simply excites me we are making this turning point in the decriminalization of marijuana. I had often wondered, even as a child, what the big deal over this pot stuff was? I mean seriously, it isn't as if we made the stuff ourselves. Mother Nature has supplied us with this beautiful plant. God created marijuana, not man. That in itself should speak volumes as to why we should be thankful to have it for our aches and pains. A natural remedy to nausea and at the same time help the cancer patient hold down a meal. No man made manufactored drug here. Simply the effects of the oh so dangerous weed! Are you kidding me? Do you know what pills do to your liver? I have known people that get sexually aroused while "stoned." After smoking a joint, you feel more relaxed, man that sounds like such a terrible thing! Often you can get a great nap in while feeling the effects of marijuana. A nap? Oh no! Get the weed killer out! If marijuana can help you sleep, make you more relaxed, stop you from feeling sick and allow you to hold down a meal and make you horny...then yes, I can see all the dangers law makers see, so clearly now. Heaven forbid all these man made companies loose their millions of dollars.

Well, so it seems, these companies very well may start loosing out. Law makers are being drawn to the light and see this issue more clearly now. Marijuana for medical use is a fair and reasonable thing to consider when talking about the health of Americans. We are the fattest Nation on the Planet! How many double cheese burgers and french fries do we consume knowing the heart failure risk? How many different drugs do pharmacuticals have that they are pushing to these Dr's who are then pushing them on us; only to find years later a commercial for an attorney telling you, "you have a right to sue." Better yet, the commercial telling you the FDA no longer backs this product. Marijuana was taken away from the public as a choice before it was ever given a chance. Smoking weed has been around longer than the law, and I have not seen one shread of evidence that it has ever killed anyone. Lets not even get started on the health risk of those who smoke cigarettes. Millions die every year from this produck, and yet, Marlboro is still doing very well! What did law makers do to try and fix that? Made cigarettes more expensive! So now Marlboro is making way more money and people are still smoking and dying. Yet, marijuana still sits on the shelf with real drugs like, heroine, meth, cocaine, crack, ecstacy and acid. Are you kidding me?

We are already allowing people to do things to their body that are extremely more dangerous than marijuana. If smoking a little bit makes you feel good with no negative side  effects. Why can't we at least have that? Especially when my Doctor is willing to shove a pill down my throat that might not be safe in two years? I want that option, don't you?  So all those law makers out there that are beginning to see marijuana in a new light, welcome to the sunshine! Now lets get everyone else out of the dark ages!
