I try the Atkins diet for a week and I lost several pounds. I was so happy to see my weight dropped. I ate all proteins and I didn't eat any sugar or carbs. If you know about the Atkins diet, sugar and carbs will turn to fat right away and be stored for later use. This is why you should never eat too much carbs or sugar because it'll go straight to your hips. You can eat all the proteins that you want because proteins can't be converted to fats easily and it's not stored by the body. It's excreted out.
You should eat as much protein as possible so that you can begin to lose weight. The body is a chemical conversion machine and it converse carbs and sugar to fats but not protein. This is why proteins should be your friend from now on. You should eliminate rice, pasta, bread and any starchy products. You should stay away from junk food because they're the number one way that you can gain weight. You should avoid sugar, ice cream , candy bars and all else with sugar in it.
