Weird News: Was it God or Just Bruce Willis??

I just read an article in the Talahassee Democrat that is worth discussing.... According to the article, a 40-year-old man was out walking his dog in the nude over the weekend. While out on his stroll, he became beligerent with the police and ended up getting himself tasered. Ouch!

You'll need to read the whole article yourself, but I guess that around 8:15 in the evening, this gentleman had a revelation from God to watch a flick and then take Fido for a walk. No problem so far - my dad instructs me to take my dog for a walk occasionally. He doesn't have the patience to let me watch a movie first, but he is persistent enough with me that I comply with the walking. I have never inferred, however, that I should do that chore without clothing.

The situation for this man escalated when he decided to stroll... er... naturally. The article doesn't say that he was instructed by God to get nude and then walk the dog, he was told simply to walk the dog. "When asked what he was doing, the man told the arresting officer, “Allah told me to watch a Bruce Willis movie and walk the dog."

So much to discuss...

Did he violate God's will by choosing to remove clothing rather than going in what he was wearing?

Has God ever nudged you to do your chores?

Did our guy deserve a taser, or would a blanket have sufficed?

Did his movie choice affect his clothing (or lack thereof)?

Was the movie 12 Monkeys? I loved that flick!
