I’ve only flown a few times and recently flew twice with WestJet. The other times, I flew with the competitors and I was not happy with the service I received. The attendants were not friendly, the customer service was slow and on two occasions, my luggage was lost. My experiences with WestJet were much different and much better. First of all, I was able to collect AirMiles with them, which was definitely a bonus. Secondly, the online booking was so simple and fast and they sent a confirmation email with all my flight information right away. After I booked, I had some questions about my flight so I called the toll-free number and I was answered immediately. No waiting on hold and no being disconnected. The representative I spoke with very friendly, polite, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. The check-in at the airport was extremely easy and once on board, the service was also excellent and my luggage didn’t get lost! My second experience with WestJet was the same, maybe even better so I know who I will be flying with by now on!
