What a WATT is?
Power is a force or energy which can be used to do work.we measure power in watts.this is in honour of James Watt,a British engineer who developed the steam engine.
A watt is a small unit of power .your body is using about 100 watts of power to read this article.this is about the same as a strong light bulb.because the watt is a small amount of power ,we use the terms kilowatt or megawatts.AkW is 1000watts and a MW is 1000000 watts.
If you look at the light bulbs in your house, you will find that they are of different wattage.each bulb has its wattage printed on its glass surface.
