What are TracFone Codes?

Generally speaking, TracFone codes are 5-digit numbers which you input into your phone, over a landline or through the TracFone website. Airtime is also added with a code, but it’s always a 15-digit sequence. By including the extra 5 digits you effectively get bonus air time, but you only get to add promo codes along with air units… that’s why it’s called bonus time, if you think about it. Promo codes can be retrieved from a variety of sources – such as this website – and air time can be bought in various packs, up to 800 yearly units at a time. One airtime unit is roughly equivalent to one minute of conversation.

Usually, promo codes will add extra conversation time to your phone, but there are also codes which provide discounts when purchasing new phones or accessories. Some promo codes will get you extra time if used in your birthday, and there are even some codes that will get you a free phone when purchasing a specific cart! Normally though, a promotional codes won’t get you as much time as the airtime units you add along with it. One thing you should keep in mind with TracFone bonus codes is that you can usually only add each code once with your phone. So, for your convenience, you might want to keep track of the codes you’ve used in the past.
