What Is the Cost of the Jenny Craig Diet?

Are you interested in a controlled weight loss program like Jenny Craig, but are unsure about the cost of this diet? Here's how to figure out what Jenny Craig will cost you:

1. How much weight do you want to lose?

There are several different tiers to the Jenny Craig diet program. The cost of this diet for you will depend on your current weight and goal weight. The three levels are the Jenny Tune Up, Jenny On Track, and Jenny Rewards.

With the Jenny Tune Up, the cost is about $20, not including the price for their food. This one is best if you need to lose only 20 pounds or less.

The Jenny On Track will cost $200 for six months not including food. The Jenny Rewards level costs over $300 not including food.

2. How motivated and disciplined are you?

Most people that lose weight with Jenny Craig gain it all back in less than one year. This program will end up costing you more than the sticker price if you find yourself on a weight gain roller coaster.

However, if you intend to learn to modify your own lifestyle and habits, then you will have long-term success. The Jenny Craig program costs quite a bit, but it is designed to make you less dependent on their controlled portions over time. The goal is to get you cooking and choosing good foods for yourself.

According to Jenny Craig, their food will only cost you about $1 more per day than what most Americans spend on food. The problem is that they don't tell you what that amount is. We know how many Americans eat out a lot and buy pre-packaged, processed convenience foods which cost a bundle. Based on that knowledge, you may really be paying through the nose for Jenny Craig's diet.
