What happened to Heath Ledger? Authorities are saying it is an apparent drug overdose. His housekeeper found him dead this afternoon when a masseuse came calling.

Heath Ledger is most well know for his role in Brokeback Mountain. All jokes aside, he played a great part in that movie. He was also in The Patriot with Mel Gibson. This year he will be starring in the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight, playing The Joker. This movie is not released yet, but from what I have seen of the trailers his portrayal of the Joker appeared to be the most serious yet for that role. No one expects Academy Awards for action movies like Batman, but I bet his performance will be remembered for a long time.
