What McCain Is Up Against

What McCain Is Up Against

I just thought I would share this information with everyone regarding what type of "voters" were brought in for a voter registration drive sponsored by the democratic party recently in North Carolina. I was listening to The Bill Lumay Show on a local radio station earlier this week and could not believe what I was hearing. A reporter went out to the voter registration office where these rounded-up voters were registering as democrats. As they emerged from registering the reporter would ask them a series of questions. The answers to those questions that were being asked just blew me away. Here is the line of questioning the reporter was posing to the newly registerd democrats, followed by the answers that were given by most of the people questioned.

Q: Who do you support in the upcoming presidential race?
A: Obama

Q: Why do you support Sen. Obama?
A: He is for the poor.
He is going to give us tax breaks.
(All answers were along the line of getting something for
nothing.)

Q: Do you think Sen. Obama made a wise choice when he picked
Sarah Palin as a running mate?
A: 100% said Yes. (We know that Joe Biden is actually his
running mate)

Q: Do you support Obama's position of pro-life?
A: 100% said Yes (Obama is not pro-life)

Q: Do you support Obama's position on wanting to leave the
troops in Iraq until the job is finished?
A: 100% said yes. (We know that Obama wants to pull the
troops out now)

These people that the democrats are rounding up to register and vote as democrats are clueless as to what is going on in the world today. This Acorn style of voter recruiting is going to have a tremendous outcome on this election. I am all for voter participation by every segment of the population. The democratic party should be ashamed that it has to stoop this low to win an election. Most of these people questioned were African-American and it is obvious that the democrats are using race instead of policy to sway this election. A survey conducted last week indicated that Obama would get 90% of the black vote, 46% of the white vote, and 60% of the latino vote. I am not a racist person at all and feel that everyone in this country is entitled to the opportunity to pursue the American dream. The bottom line to this article is that no matter what race you are, you need to know the policies your candidate stands for. If you are not going to participate in life, then don't screw it up for the rest of us. May God Bless America, we are going to need it.

Well, since "liberals" by

Well, since "liberals" by definition are not liberal, I don't think making a distinction between socialism and liberalism is necessary or helpful. Liberal and socialist are not the same...I think most non-"liberals" understand that. Obama is indeed a socialist. Perhaps you should read his Blueprint for Change. Maybe you ought to listen to what he says and read what he writes. "Joe the Plumber" effectively exposed Obama for what he is. (Personally, I think "Marxist" more accurately defines his political philosophy. After all, Obama has been surrounded by them for most of his life, he has sought their support, and he has received endorsements from the worst of them.) *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

I know the difference between liberalism and socialism

Socialism is having our government involved in every aspect of our lives. Obama wants that to be the case in health care, education, and welfare. He thinks he is the modern day Robin Hood or something. His tax on small business ($250,000 +) so the wealth can be distributed is down right communist, a step further that socialism. That tax would take close to 60 cents of every dollar of business income. What do you think the ramifications of that would befor the business ownwer, his employees, and the consumers of goods and services. Let me tell you in case you don't. Small to midsize businesses would have to close their doors or be forced to lay employess off. Their goes many jobs and economis stimulus. If they were somehow able to stay in business, who do you think they are going to pass the cost off to from the increase in taxes? You and me, thats who! His liberal stances of supporting pro-choice for abortion and providing benefits for same sex marriage couples are down right criminal. You do not destroy life out of conveniece. If same sex couples were placed on an island it wouldn't be long before the population of the island was zero. How does that benefit society. Look around the world at the views on these issues and you will see just how backward thinking the liberals are in this country. This country was founded with God in mind but has abrupt;y turned away from Him for reasons that have no benefit to our societ or life itself. If anyone thinks it is right to destroy innocent human life is insane. Also, sodomy is still a crime in my state and should be every where in the world. It is un-natural and an abomination. I guess liberals think we evolved into humans from a frog or what ever as well. If that were the case why do they still exist, I would think they would have all evolved by now. Yet they still exist just like they were when we were created.

And I don't think

you're willing to make a distinction between liberal and socialist. You seem to feel they're the same.

Believing Obama to be a

Believing Obama to be a socialist is "mistaken"? I don't think you've been paying attention. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

What Obama is up against

Many Republicans (including long-time voters, not new registrants) have the mistaken idea that Obama is Muslim, or is a socialist, or is a terrorist. That's even more scary than what a few new voters think. What McCain is up against is 8 years of poor performance by a president from his own party, a bad economy, and doubts about his age and how different his policies will be from those of his predecessor.

Good Article. It's too bad so many supporters are clueless

They should have at least known that Sarah Palin is not Obama's VP running mate even if they did not know it was Joe Biden. Politicians don't care if voters are informed. These candidates only want the vote so they and their cronies can get in the White House. Something is going on in America and it ain't pretty. Get Financially Healthy

Smell the Coffee Man

I hope you get all that you want from these elections. You really seem like an arrogant, left-wing, self righteous know-it-all. You know as good as I do that I am not wrong. The tactics the dems are using to pull these voters in is communistic. A free ride for the homeless, a free meal, etc. just to come and register to vote in the most important election of our lives. Those people they pulled in don't know their butts from a whole in the ground when it comes to presidential politics or the actual condition of the world we live in. Your defending these methods is just as bad as the democratic community organizers that were driving the dang bus. Have no fear though, the messiah is running for president. He'll solve eveything. Please!

I See You Know the Left As Well

It doesn't suprise me that my article was trashed like it was. I just joined this site today and from some of the articles I read prior to joining, I figured my article would be mauled by liberals. I don't, for one minute, side with the republican extreme right fanatics. They show just as much ignorance as some of the democrats do. However, we do live in a country where we can point injustice when we see it no matter which side it comes from. It is nice to know there are some people here that aren't afraid to state there case in this left-wing liberal virtual sespool. I say again, no matter the background, color, sexual orientation, or opinion, know what the policies of the candidate before you pull the lever. God bless America.

I find the comments to this

I find the comments to this article to be quite pathetic. Since when is it "racist" to write a Xombyte about one's feelings on the election? Why do the "moderates" and Democrats come out in numbers to denounce someone who posts an article with an opposing view? Why is it always the "right" that gets ridiculed by the clique here on Xomba anytime they post something that reflects an opposing opinion? It's always the same people...and predictably so. Now before you try to compare what you do to what I write, think carefully about what it is you're doing. I refute inane statements with supporting arguments...I can't really say the same for others. What happens here is that the "liberal"/"moderate" clique floods a Xombyte that they take issue with - almost always something written by a Republican or "conservative." They (you) attack the person writing it or the person the author has quoted. They (you) make some preposterous accusation - like that the author is somehow being "racist" or "xenophobic" because they share another person's opinion. They (you) repeat the same tired and ridiculous rhetoric that has been cycled continuously throughout the news and the internet. Usually, fact-checking is never done...even though it is claimed that it has happened. But what is more fascinating than that is the fact that they (you) cannot even fathom the notion that they (you) and the people they (you) support and quote are nothing more than the "liberal" or "moderate" equivalent of the very people they (you) denounce on "the other side." They (you) do not consider that the type of people quoted in this article do in fact exist. It is not a conspiracy to show Democrat voters in a bad light. And even if these audio clips were chosen because of their absurdity, how is that any different than what happens on "the other side"? The fact of the matter is - both sides have their share of ignorant and stupid voters. So, why go through all the trouble to ridicule someone who points it out on either side? And why try to pretend that Democrat voters can't possibly be as stupid as Republicans, or vice-versa? I would suggest the people that choose to comment on articles like this - just stop and think for once. We all know that a vast majority of voters are not intelligent enough to be choosing the people who run our government. We all know that these people exist in every party. Take some time to look at your own brethren before condemning the very same type of people in a different clique. And just so we are clear: I think everyone who is willing to vote for a socialist or for someone who is not interested in individual liberty and republicanism, is not someone I think is qualified to vote in this country. It doesn't matter if they are Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or Green...they're all just as stupid as the next. Obama supporters are certainly not excluded from said group. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

Ignorance is widepread

Anyone that bases their vote or lack of solely on the color of ones skin should be allowed to vote at all. Black, white, green, purple. Know the policies and the ramifications of those policies.
