Gas is near $4 and the housing market is in the crapper, but the gaming market is doing just fine: in fact, console sales are up 27 percent year to date. Maybe it's because people are staying home more because they can't afford to drive as much, but sales are strong as the Nintendo Wii dominates the gaming business and its DS does well, too.
