When choosing the perfect pair of glasses, take your time because those glasses will become part of your face. It’s like having the opportunity to buy a new nose; you would not do that in less than 2 minutes.

1. Buy the right pair of glasses to suite your face; and here is the guide:

Round face – try rectangular and wide.
Long face – glasses with more depth suite, if features are angular go for ovals, if features are more round, try a squarer shape.

5. If you are only buying one pair, then you should be looking for neutral color frames, something that is a similar color to your hair is always a good idea.

6. Take a good friend shopping with you and get their opinion.
Don’t just view yourself face on, get 2 mirrors and see how you look from the side.

7. If you are intending to keep your glasses a long time, keep it neutral, high-fashions come and go very quickly.

8. Go to many different shops.

9. Make sure you have your prescription with you.

10. Read reviews on local eye wear specialists.

11. Make sure they come with a good warranty.

12. Any issues with your lenses – then take them to your optician immediately for analysis – if an error has been made you should not be wearing those glasses.
