This Is What Voter Fraud REALLY Looks Like

The truly ridiculous thing about all this ACORN nonsense (Besides the fact that John McCain has endorsed them in the past and that the "fraud" itself is both utterly ineffectual and understandable based on the organizations payment initiatives)? Anyone truly attempting voter fraud will understand that fraud based on trying to win extra, fake votes for a candidate doesn't work - it's just too hard to get even a few fake votes past (requires getting individuals to pose as fake voters and risk felony charges), much less enough to make any significant difference.

What DOES work, however, is suppressing the votes given to your opponent.

Which is exactly what some Republicans are trying to do.

Which is why the Republicans haven't been careful

This story is why the Republicans haven't been careful to draw the line between allegations of voter registration fraud and outright voter fraud at the polling place. The former involves bad employees trying to make a buck and the latter--the real problem--is affecting actual votes on election day. There are even Republican voter registration groups that have been deliberately getting Democratic voters to change their party affiliation and throwing out voter registrations that are not Republican.
