What would Jesus do about terrorism?

Terrorism is a kind of cancer severely affecting the very existence of the society. What would Jesus say and do about terrorism? It is a fact that any of the religion hardly encourages terrorism. Unfortunately patriotic people take the right one in wrong spirit and doing inexplicable things. My religion says "Loka samastha sukino bhavanthu" which means let happiness be spread all over the world. Jesus and Muhammad also spread the message of peace and happiness.

What a good citizen of the earth can do to eliminate the cancer of terrorism? This question has very importance in the event of September 11 and days like that. I have many good friends from the Islamic religion. They have very high vision of life and entirely against the patriotic way of Islam. Muhammad Nabi spread the message of peace and happiness and taught his followers to do the same. It is very unfortunate that a very few cruel people adding bad color to an entire community. The religious leaders have a big role to play here by conveying the real meaning of religion. Let the mind of every child filled with the fragrance of Love, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE and only love. Let's pray for a world where no weapon, no terror, no anger, but only love.

@Rycharde Manne--But Jesus Wasn't Using the Roman Empire's Words

Jesus knew his tradition ran deeper than Rome's; that knowledge was causing a raucus, so it had to be snuffed out. We dissenters are just using our country's own words against the corrupted politicians; if we stay true to the words, true 'patriots' will see the light before any real harm is done! ---Uncle MythMan, who KNOWS you're as awesome as the 2009 Collection (in your special way), yet needs to hear *you*! Jesus would be the terrorist,........intersting point and thanks

You are absolutely right....:"f there was political equality and bi-directional respect, then there would be no terrorism" I fully agree to that....

From now on, we will always be at war with a fiction.

I wouldn't believe everything you read about terrorism. Most of it is manufactured. The new permanent war of Orwell's 1984. The innocents in the wrong place at the wrong time are the ones who suffer - the rest of us suffer in the long run with more surveillance. Don't be sucked into the propaganda - spread peace and love to those who you can influence. Oh yeah, Jesus was nailed for sedition against the Roman Empire, so I wouldn't ask his advice on terrorism as you may not get the reply you hope for. Money for your Thoughts - join now Epi-BV

Jesus would be the Terrorist

While Jesus walked the earth during the end years of His life, He wasn't supportive of the current regime. He acknowledged that there was a difference between living one's life on earth while still attending to things that were more important. The Republicans and Democrats of the day--the Pharisees and Sadducees--didn't like His brand of politics, not unlike those politicians today who speak against the unconstitutional status quo, and they crucified Him for it. Sure, they worked within the "law" to make it look legitimate, but he opened the eyes of the masses to what the politicians of the day were doing contrary to God's law. The terrorists of the world are not (mostly) committing acts of violence for violence's sake. No, they are trying to get the attention of those who hold the power so that their own right to exist can be acknowledged and respected. If there was political equality and bi-directional respect, then there would be no terrorism. As with the Pharisees and Sadducees, who selectively interpreted the law for their own benefit and aggrandizement at the expense of the masses of people, politicians live above the laws they write for common people and use taxpayers as their own personal ATM to live lives common people can only dream about. No, in a comparative history, Jesus would be the terrorist. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
