What would you do if..............?

We no longer had the internet?

We did not have cell phones?

If we did not have television?

If we did not have a car to drive, no one does?

If there were no gas stations and oil to burn?

If there were no airliner's or airplanes or any kind of aircraft?

If you woke up tomorrow morning and found yourself back in time, What period would you want to end up in and why?

If everything as you know it now ceased to exist and took you back in time.

How would you cope, survive? What would you do for entertainment

What kind of food would you eat, how would you fix, cook eat it.

Would you try and find a way back to our century or stay there?

Exactly survival of the fittest

Your right, Saddly most people don't even think of that possibility or think it is in a remote far off someday beyond their time or realm. You being so far about the only person to even respond to my post proves that. You and I are more likely to survive and know what to do and how to cope. The masses won't. They will be in utter and total panic and shock. Not everyone of course but the majority will and they will look to someone else to make it all better.

Hello everyone, stop and set awhile.

Just offering a different perspective...

Like I said above, you cannot say that *things* are bad because most things are neither good nor bad. Therefore, the ills of the world today are due to mankind misusing *things* that creates the bad we see. If and when we find ourselves sans technology due to natural disaster or something manmade--a nuclear detonation with the resultant electromagnetic pulse--there will obvious repercussions as those completely dependent on technology in every aspect of their lives suffer withdrawal symptoms and lash out. However, as Nature has done throughout time immemorial, a balance will come about and those who still have the will and ability to evolve will evolve and those that don't will die off. Nature always wins. _______________________________________________________ "Treason doth never prosper, what's the reason? I concur with that

But most people are so unindated with todays conviences they have NO clue what they will do when not if we come to a time they are no longer available. Are they ready for it. Most are not. So the question was what would they do if they woke up and found they no longer had free ability to turn on a light switch or faucet with hot and cold water etc. No computer or cell phone or all the modern day convienvces people take for granted. I was not trying to run anyones life, just asking a what if question. Are you sure you responded to the correct article post?

Hello everyone, stop and set awhile.

What I posted...

What I posted was one of those self-answering questions. But, to answer your questions, humans have always evolved using the gifts that God has given us by following God's examples. To whit, the same Sun that can burn your skin (bad) can harden clay (good). The same rain that can drown you in a flood (bad), can help keep you alive (good). The point is, mankind had always been given new things and it is the nature of our Free Will given us by our Creator that allows us the CHOICE to do either good or bad with them. Therefore, one cannot say that what God has given us is inherently bad without saying that God himself is bad. Or that Free Will is bad because the alternative is mindless sycophancy, which is the quite the opposite of His plan for us, although it is the desired state of docility for the common man in many of the tyrannies throughout history. In short, we were created with freedom of choice through Free Will and that choices we all have made throughout history are what have brought us here. You cannot make a value judgement on where we are because, to do so, you would be saying that you are more qualified than other people to run their lives; that argument could be made by anybody about you, too. It is easy to look at where we are today, wring our hands, and lament our current condition. It is more difficult, but far more constructive, to look at where we are today and work toward getting us where we need to be. Keeping the focus on what we DO want tells the Universe that we are ready to be more than we are today. _______________________________________________________ "Treason doth never prosper, what's the reason? And Your point is????

Do you think the world as we know it with all technology and modern day gadgets will continue to exist? I don't. History repeats itself and great nations fall and people who have learned to survive make out. The rest perish.

Hello everyone, stop and set awhile.

Have you?

Have you ever considered a world without hypothetical situations? _______________________________________________________ "Treason doth never prosper, what's the reason? For if it doth prosper, none dare call it treason." -Sir John Harrington, 1561-1612
