what writers on xomba should be called

Stop the vote and hold the presses! Xombees? We don't want to sound like the living dead when people speak of our contributions. No. I submit that those persons that write xombytes should be labeled, from this point on, forever more, xombauthors. Therefore, since this is my first contribution, I am now a fellow xombauthor, or maybe I'll be the only one using the term and no one will know what I'm talking about.

New Poll Soon

WE're going to have a new poll soon with the names mentioned here along with Xombee.

The poll will probably last 3-4 weeks.

Xombee Rules

It's a good offer. But Xombauthor is a bit too clunky.

Of all I've heard, Xombee is still my favorite. It sounds like Zombie (a plus as far as I'm concerned), and it flows nicely off the tongue.

My thoughts

I must admit, none of the choices thrilled me. I began to think of what we might be called. Xombonians, Xombonites, Xombinators...they all sound like super heroes or worse.

Xombauthors doesn't really thrill me either though, no offense meant of course. But I do agree about the Xombees not sounding appropriate.

What about Xombloggers?

I think the problems stems from the need to use Xomba and it's limited application and realm of possibilities. Or maybe it's my lack of creativity today.

Maybe we all put too much thought into it and we should simply use Xombans.

"I'm a Xomban" doesn't sound so bad, though it does sound a bit like a cult heh.

Our ears are open.

We haven't settled on what to call the users yet.

Currently, we're concentrating on the server issues and a new web design.

Feel free to leave suggestions for a name.
