What's for Breakfast? 920 Calories and 60 Grams of Fat!
posted October 17, 2007 - 11:44pmIt's good to eat a hearty breakfast, but the folks at Hardee's seem to have gone overboard.
They've rolled out their new Country Breakfast Burrito, which features two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped inside a flour tortilla. < p>
If that sounds like a lot of food (and a lot of stuff that's bad for your health), you're right. The burrito has:
* 920 calories
* 60 grams of fat
* about 2000 milligrams of sodium
... and that's just one meal!
A leading consumer health group complains that the burrito contains half a day's calories and a full day's worth of saturated fat and salt, and a generous helping of cholesterol.
With all that, Hardee's should give you a free Roto-Rooter artery cleaning with every burrito!
