When did the internet become a place to whine endlessly?

The internet throughout the years has been a place to learn, shop, communicate, teach, meet people, find employment, look for travel destinations, find yourself on Dateline with Chris Hansen, seek advice, find news reports and thoroughly entertain oneself. Not so anymore.

An almost perfect and seamless transition has taken place over the past months or years; one that most people never give a second thought. The fact is that the internet has changed into a place where everyone has an opinion (which is always correct) and everyone expresses this opinion.

It goes something like this "Those ____ are idiots! Why do they have to shove their ideas and beliefs down my throat? I mean it doesn't even make sense....", and then of course they continue shoving their own ideas down someone else's throat. Anyone who will read it anyway. Things are getting out of hand. Everyone needs to learn to get along... or shut up. I prefer the latter.

Oh crap. This just became one of those ridiculous rants as stated above. Never mind, I guess just continue on with what you were doing. Whine away.

Knob?

Chris, you make me chuckle. Also, the :-) is also my "please don't take the previous statement as rude" tool.

Aha!

Oof I now realize that was me sounding like a 'knob' again when really I was just trying to make a joke. Hey for future reference if I say something and it sounds rude, it's probably not meant that way. Hence the damn smiley face :) Where's Lady to point this out to me when I post!

Nice catch

Well I think everyone is guilty of whining now and again. I know I am anyway.

Whoa wait a second

Was that strange sound I just heard Idlewild and Publius whining? I'm fairly certain it was. Maybe if you all stopped talking about whining and talked about something else you would have more Adsense dollars :)

PG must be holding out on me...

guess he's punishing me for complaining about the math problem.

Idle...you don't have that

Idle...you don't have that on your profile? Hmm...must not have gotten the memo, eh?

MySpace Lite

If Xomba ever lets users put butt-ugly flashing backgrounds on their profile pages, I'm outta here.

No, Chansen, I never

No, Chansen, I never expected anything. I figured it was some sort of scam...I was 90% accurate on that one. I'm not sure why I'm still here. It seems this place is slowly becoming MySpace Lite.

Cha-ching! Not really.

Pub- Did you ever actually expect a check with this type of thing? Idle- Hmmm, don't worry about anything going to my head. I'll see what I can do about keeping up the momentum but I'm sure its short lived. What I like about this site is how there seems to be a close group that sticks around.

Idle, all this attention may

Idle, all this attention may be overrated. With all of the reads and comments, or interest in my xombytes, I just broke $15 the other day on my Adsense after 9 weeks. I've had about 1300 page impressions and around 30 clicks. Perhaps I should hire a lawyer and consider a lawsuit for false advertisement. Good thing I didn't stop working.
