When love hurts. Part 1.
posted October 26, 2009 - 1:17amWhen Rick did it the first time, Alisa made every excuse for it. She did the whole, "I fell down the stairs, ran into a doorway." After that first time, it was as if she had given him a non verbal acceptance of it. She hadn't of course, that was just the way that Rick took it. After all, if Alisa didn't know that she deserved it she would have fought back, right?
No, that wasn't right. No one, no man, no woman, no child ever deserves to be hit. This is the story of a woman named Alisa, and her husband Rick. How it began, and if it ever ended.
Before the story, I would like to take a moment to explain. This is just a story, it was and is not my intention to make it sound as though I am accepting any abuse. I am not. I despise any one that would ever lay a hand on another being in any violent manner. Some portions of this story were taken from my life, names and instances have been changed to protect the innocent. If you have or are continuing to live with abuse in your life, I plead with you to seek the help of professionals. Seek out the help of the police first and foremost, they can help you get the help you need to make sure that you are safe. This story is just my opinion and not meant as any legal advice. Abuse is not just something that touches the lives of women. Many men also live with violence and abuse in their lives. This story is for all men and women that have lived with or are living with abuse.
